Students will learn how various lenses effect the depth of field and image quality of an exposure. Students will learn how to manually operate a digital camera, taking control of aperture settings, shutter speeds, and ISO controls. Topics include, image composition, digital camera techniques in various formats including raw, GIF, JPEG, and PNG, digital processing using Adobe Photoshop and digital printing. Offers instruction in the use of a SLR digital camera and fundamentals of digital photography. Corequisite: CIS120 or documented proficiency.
